Currently Thiess Indonesia is seeking high calibre candidates for our projects in Kalimantan operations and Jakarta Head Office to fill the position of:

1. DEPUTY PROJECT SERVICES MANAGER
Assist the Project Service Manager in daily activities; provide competent and professional short and long term mine planning functions to ensure the targets set by the project are met on time; provide pit engineering to ensure smooth operations in achieving project goals; maintain quality and environmental standards which comply with the Projects Environmental Management plan as EMR and TMS; provide accurate survey measures in timely manner.
Requirements: Min. Degree in Mining or Civil Engineering; min. 15 years experience in Mining industry and minimum 5 years experience in Superintendent level; familiar with mining concept and practice also mine planning; environmental management; organize and provide direction to employees.

2. SENIOR MINE PLANNING ENGINEER
Provide the technical mine design, scheduling, monitoring function & data analysis for the mining operation by ensuring maximum productivities, coal recovery in the most cost effective safe manner, providing competent and professional long term mine planning.
Requirements: Min. Degree in Mining Engineering; min. 5 years experience in mine design concept and operation in coal; familiar with long term mine planning and mining sequences; familiar with mining software: Minescape, Xpac and Talpac.

3. SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER
Manage the environmental section involving QA, to ensure the environmental management plan, rehabilitation management, waste and hydrocarbon management, water management, air and dust monitoring are in comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations and statutory obligations at all times.
Requirements: Min. Degree in Environmental/Mining Engineering; min. 5 years experience as Environmental Engineer; has attended training on land, water and waste management, re-vegetation and rehabilitation, and ISO 14001 auditor.

4. SENIOR DRILL & BLAST ENGINEER
Lead the drill and blast team; provide leadership and coaching within the drilling and blasting section; make sure all drilling and blasting activities are following the plan, safely and in cost manner, good quality, documented and reported on time.
Requirements: Min. Degree in Mining Engineering; min. 5 years experience as Drill & Blast Engineer; have blaster certificate class II; familiar with designing drill and blast, explosive handling, understanding applications of terramodel drill blast and shot plus software; understanding mining sequences.

5. MINING SENIOR SUPERVISOR
Supervise the work teams to deliver production quantities and results to meet the agreed dig plan for the shift; to plan ahead and set up the gear to bein good shape for the oncoming shift; follow Thiess standards and planning on time and on budget while also satisfying the needs of the client and the company; supervise and manage the equipment to meet the productivity requirements safely and in accordance to all TCI operating procedures.
Requirements: Min. Senior High School; min. 5 years experience in Mining Supervision; able to operate Heavy equipment.

6. SAFETY COORDINATOR
Implement and coordinate safety program; act as an expert safety trainer, advisor, inspector, and Investigator as required.
Requirements: Min. Bachelor Degree in any discipline; mm. 5 years experience in open Pit Coal Mining area in Safety Supervision; OHS Certificate; strong knowledge and experience in safety, Health and Environment management and development; strong knowledge in ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and also how to implement them.

7. PIT ENGINEER
Provide a short term planning service which give guidance to mining operation clearly: ensure the target set by the project are met in time and mine planning provided productively to get the maximum coal recovery in the most cost effective and qualified manner.
Requirements: Min. Degree in Mining Engineering; min. 2 years experience in Pit Engineering (open cut mining); understand mining sequence: familiar in using mining software/CAD.

8. ROAD WORK SUPERVISOR
Supervise and manage the equipments to reduce Haul Road Severity and increase the Tyre life across all classes; ensure the haul roads surface are safe for the equipment s operation with effective and efficient maintenance; maintain the hauls roads design; ensure the safety berms along haul roads are at the correct height; ensure safety signage on haul roads are adequate; review the information and apply necessary action to improve road condition.
Requirements: Min. Senior High School; min. 3 years of experience in the same field; able to operate Grader or Dozer.

9. MINING SUPERVISOR
Coordinate all Leading Hands and all crew in the workplace of OB stripping, coal mining and reclamation activity to achieve production target in safely manner.
Requirements: Min. Senior High School; min. 3 years of experience in the same field; able to operate Heavy equipment.

10. MECHANIC SUPERVISOR
Ensure that the maintenance department goals are achieved; ensure maximum communication level are maintained between workshop and operations personnel, regarding breakdowns safety issues, and prioritizing of equipment repairs; en-sure that all area supervisors accurately complete daily breakdown reports; ensure accurate breakdown hours information is provided; analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required, ensure correct procedure used when trouble shooting breakdowns and failures.
Requirements: Min. Senior High School or Mechanical Trade Specialist; min. 5 years experience In Mechanic Supervision; should have experience in mechanical repair and supervision in the mining Industry; planning of mechanical repair; and familiar with mining heavy equipment (Dump Truck, Excavator, Grader. Dozer) and lifting equipment.

11. BLASTING SUPERVISOR
Supervise blasting crew to get good performance and production target.
Requirements: Min. Senior High School; min. 5 years experience in Blasting Supervision; have blaster certificate class II; explosive handling; understanding mining sequences; familiar with designing drill and blast.
